KUALA LUMPUR (March 6): Sports and recreational activities for health, fitness and training purposes, as well as games or matches, are now allowed in areas under the conditional movement control order (CMCO) and recovery MCO (RMCO) beginning today. The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in a statement said that the permission is subject to the MCO in force in the areas concerned, as well as the permission of the relevant authorities.

The RMCO, short for Recovery Movement Control Order ( Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan in Malay), is the third phase of the Movement Control Order. Scheduled to last from 10 June 2020 until 31 August 2020, it will further liberalise the Malaysian economy, on top of what the CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) introduced earlier.
